Histórico

Graduou-se em Química em 2001 e concluiu seu doutorado em Físico-Química pela Universidade de São Paulo no Instituto de Química de São Carlos (IQSC) em 2006, com estágio no Brookhaven National Laboratory. Realizou pós-doutoramento no IQSC entre 2006 e 2008. Atualmente é Professor Associado do Instituto de Química de São Carlos - USP. Publicou 46 artigos em periódicos especializados e mais de 80 resumos de trabalhos em anais de eventos. Participou e apresentou palestras em mais que 10 congressos no exterior e mais que 45 no Brasil. Esses trabalhos receberam 2480 citações (fator h = 25, dados de Dezembro de 2017 - Scopus).


Linhas de Pesquisa

Suas principais áreas de atuação são relacionadas com a investigação da eletrocatálise das reações eletroquímica de quebra da água, de eletro-oxidação de moléculas combustíveis orgânicas e inorgânicas, eletro-redução de oxigênio e eletro-redução de dioxido de carbon. Estas reações estão envolvidas em dispositivos eletroquímicos de conversão e armazenamento de energia, tais como células a combustível, eletrolisadores, e dispositivos eletroquímicos regenerativos.
